Thanks for the question.

While I cannot diagnose this over the internet I can tell you the following :

1. You did just the right thing in washing the frontline off as soon as possible. I would recommend washing with the likes of Dawn dish soap, do this twice and rinse the area well each time. But what you did was just fine though and will more than likely have solved your problem.

2. The active ingredients of Frontline usually takes about 24 hours to be completely absorbed by the top layer of skin so you should have got almost all of it off. Also Frontline is a relatively safe product and overdose is actually rare, for example no adverse effects have been reported even up to five times the normal dose.

3. Of course you should monitor your dog and contact your vet if any odd symptoms occur but this would be very unlikely indeed following your quick washing of the area.

If I have not covered your question fully enough or you would like to ask more I will be online for the next hour or so and I will be at your disposal.
